I will be heading to the mexican/arizona border here in a few. I will be doing a 90 day tour. Im going to try to get alot of pictures and write as much about it as I can. Hopefully we can stop and slow down alot of the imagrants coming into America. It’s rather sick that we have to deal with foreign people who refuse to speak english, or pay taxes or do anything leagal, yet want to receive benefits from our great country.
Actually, I think you guys are just there for logistics and support of the U.S. Border Patrol, and not direct intervention. You probably won’t even see any illegals. Bush ‘promised’ Vicente Fox that he wouldn’t ‘militarize’ our southern border, so frankly this whole exercise is just a PR bit to feed the newspapers, so that Bush can defray criticism that he isn’t defending the borders.

I think they should build a five-star hotel for the military instead of paying rent though. This should be a permanent operation — even if they have to rotate units around.
The operation is only going to last long enough to hire more BP agents. I actually thought about it. But i just want to go back home and start my family
